Educational Sessions

Day 2 of the 2024 Summer Meeting hosted by the Indiana Mineral Aggregates Association (IMAA) and the Indiana Ready Mixed Concrete Association (IRMCA) was a day rich with learning and industry insights. The event featured three educational sessions, each presented by industry experts, who provided attendees with valuable strategies and knowledge to bring back to their organizations.

Jacqueline von Ogden from The VOGroup opened with a session on "Organizational Communication & Culture: Generational Disconnect," offering solutions to bridge generational gaps. This was followed by Ed Valasek from American StructurePoint, who spoke on "Preventing Cracks in Your Technology Foundation," focusing on maintaining a strong tech infrastructure.

The day concluded with Bryon Silk and Jason Graves from the Indiana Department of Workforce Development, who discussed "Employer Engagement and Work-based Learning Solutions," sharing innovative approaches to workforce integration. The sessions were not only informative but also crucial for the continued growth and success of our industry.
