Infrastructure Award 2024

When it comes to transformative infrastructure projects, the Route-39921 Epworth & State Road 66 Crossing in Newburgh, Indiana, stands out as a major milestone. imi and JBI Construction Inc. were awarded the 2024 Infrastructure Project Award for their impressive execution of this first-of-its-kind displaced left turn intersection in the Tri-State area.

This project required 13,600 yards of QC/QA pavement and curbs, multiple 1,000+ yard pours, and the first use of E5 Liquid Fly Ash in an Evansville-area QC/QA project. Designed to improve traffic flow and accommodate growing demand, the project also included reconstructed on/off ramps for I-69, new right-turn lanes, medians, and barrier walls.
